Daisy

Hi, I’m Daisy
I’m 7 years old and I am one of the life-long residents here at DASH Dogs.
I had a very difficult road before arriving here at DASH Dogs. I spent my puppy weeks being kicked around and abused.
This has made me very fearful of humans – it takes extraordinary time and patience for me to accept a new human into my space.
If I am scared and approached by a new person, I will get angry and lash out.
I am the Alpha female in my area of DASH Dogs, and I get on really well with the other dogs in my pack, especially the boys!
I would find adjusting to traditional family life very difficult, so I should stay at DASH Dogs.
I am happy with my pack and the human volunteers at DASH Dogs that I’ve learnt to trust and accept.
By sponsoring life-long DASH Dogs residents like me, you will be helping feed and care for me and changing the lives of every dog that comes to DASH Dogs for help, love and shelter!

Can Daisy be adopted?
Not for adoption to the public but could be adopted by a volunteer – somebody she trusts and has a special bond with. Daisy has made great progress and no longer needs to be chained for feeding times or when volunteers are cleaning her area.
